Position : Risk Executive (M / F -1 Post)
Job Description:
v Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur.
v Performing a risk assessment: Analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company.
v Performing a risk evaluation: Evaluating the company’s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements.
v Establishing the level of risk, the company are willing to take.
v Preparing risk management and insurance budgets.
v Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks).
v Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders.
v Creating business continuity plans to limit risks.
v Implementing health and safety measures, and purchasing insurance.
v Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors.
v Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims.
v Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals.
v Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.
v Identify financial, safety or security risks that the client company or organization may face.
v Prepare action plans to decrease risk factors.
v Gather confidential financial information from client such as income, assets and debts.
v Manage company insurance policies.
v Perform risk evaluation, which assesses the way the company previously handled risks.
v Make risk-avoiding adjustments to current methods of operation in order to minimize their future risks.
v Prepare a risk-management budget.
v Provide training and certification for organization staff so that they can be aware of risks and try to avoid them.
Qualifications & Requirements:
A degree in the following subjects is not vital but can be included in a job description:
v Risk Management
v Management or Business Studies
v Finance or Economics
v Science
v Statistics
v Engineering
v Law

v Experience working with insurance policies.
