Position : Legal Manager (M/F-1 Post)
Job Description:
v Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
v Develop and review company policies.
v Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
v Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
v Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
v Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
v Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
v Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance
v Development and implementation of company policies and procedures that meet national and international laws as well as sector-specific rules and regulations outlined by relevant regulatory agencies.
v Ensuring that employees, management and board level directors operate with the due diligence and integrity required to protect the company against legal risk.
v Advising relevant teams on legal or regulatory issues regarding sales, marketing, vendors, products or projects.
v Designing and delivering training to employees, management and the board regarding compliance procedures
v Staying abreast of any changes to laws or sector specific regulations and keeping the rest of the company up to date with any changes through communication and training.
v Providing support to any investigations or audits into company compliance.
v Working closely with HR and management teams for consistent enforcement of policies and when responding to compliance violations.
v Drafting and reviewing legal documents under the guidance of Legal Consultant.
v Establish and update a compliance manual.
v Report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance, highlighting or escalating areas of concern and contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization
v Review marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
v Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests
v Perform various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing administrative projects)
v Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance.
Job Requirements:
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
v Bachelor’s degree in law.
v Possess great interest in working with different people
v Strong ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling of work assignments
v Effective and explicit communication skills in both oral and written forms
v Ability to foster a friendly work environment for team members
v Deep knowledge of the processes of the courts and legal documentation
v Exceptional ability to motivate, persuade, and influence others
v Ability to analyze data and give correct interpretations
v Computer skills: possess knowledge of Microsoft Suites, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and also, proficiency in the use of audit and accounting software
v Possess good interpersonal skills
v Strong organizational skills, which relates to the prioritizing of workloads and showing a great level of resilience and calmness even when under pressure
v Demonstrate a high level of integrity to be able to adhere to regulations and its total compliance
v Strong ability to take initiatives and make sound decisions.

Office Hours : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Day Off : Saturday, Sunday and Public Holliday
Salary : On Project Base /Freelance
Allowance : Ferry Provided, Phone Bill Allowance, yearly bonus (Other allowance)
