Position              : Health Safety Environmental Officer

Job Description:

Health Safety Environmental Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of health, safety, and environmental programs within the organization. The officer will assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting best practices to create a safe and sustainable working environment.

 Responsibilities:

v  Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental management systems.

v  Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance with relevant regulations.

v  Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

v  Support incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent future accidents or incidents.

v  Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to health, safety, and environmental awareness and compliance.

v  Review and update safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals and ensure proper storage and handling practices are followed.

v  Coordinate with internal stakeholders to monitor and report on key health, safety, and environmental performance indicators.

v  Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, permits, and other compliance documentation.

v  Stay abreast of new regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in health, safety, and environmental management.

v  Contribute to the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.

Job Requirements:

v  Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Environmental or another related field.

v  Minimum 5 years experience.

v  Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

v  Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and assess risks.

v  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.

v  Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

v  Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and reporting.

v  Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

v  Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.

Location          : Tharkayta Tsp, Yangon.

Office Hours   : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Day Off           : Saturday, Sunday and Public Holliday

Salary              : On Project Base /Freelance

Allowance       : Ferry Provided, Phone Bill Allowance, yearly bonus (Other allowance)
